PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT:
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
CONSUMER COMPLAINT NOTICE AND SALE OF CHECKS NOTICE:
American Bank of Commerce is chartered under the laws of the State of Texas and by state law is subject to regulatory oversight by the Texas Department of Banking. Any consumer wishing to file a complaint against American Bank of Commerce should contact the Texas Department of Banking.

American Bank of Commerce also engages in the business of selling checks as an agent for a company licensed under the laws of the State of Texas and subject to regulatory oversight by the Texas Department of Banking. Any consumer wishing to file a complaint concerning the sale of checks should contact the Texas Department of Banking.

The Board, Management and Staff of American Bank of Commerce believe that your right to privacy is one of the foundations on which our relationship is based. Information about your transactions and your account experience with us;

Information we obtain from consumer credit reporting agencies;

Information from other outside sources regarding employment, credit, or other relationship(s) with you, or verifying representations made by you to us, such as your employment history, loan or credit card balances, or your property insurance coverage;

Other general information we obtain about you that is not assembled for the purpose of determining your eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or other product or service you request, such as demographic information; and

Information collected through the use of Internet "cookies" when you access our Web site.


WE DO NOT DISCLOSE OR SHARE NON-PUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU TO ANYONE EXCEPT AS PERMITTED BY LAW.
We may share your information with companies we have hired to provide marketing or other services on our behalf or other institutions with which we have a joint marketing agreement. Information about your transactions that we may share may include name, address, account balance, telephone number and types of products owned. All third parties, to whom information is shared, are not permitted to use the information for any purpose other than to assist our servicing of your account(s) or as permitted by law. We do not have/do not share any information with affiliates.

If you close your account(s) or if we lose contact with you, we will continue to share information in accordance with our current privacy policy and practices.

To the extent we may collect personally identifiable medical information in connection with the sale of insurance products or services, we will not (either internally or externally) share such information for any purpose other than the underwriting or administration of an insurance policy, claim or account.
